Belarus Free Theatre on PBS Firing Line

Belarus Free Theatre will be featured on Firing Line with Margaret Hoover, with a special talk filmed after the world premiere of KS6: Small Forward at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club.

Chaired by Hoover, the event featured exiled Belarus President-elect Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, winner of the country's 2020 presidential election, according to independent observers; Belarus Free Theatre co-founding Artistic Director Natalia Kaliada MBE, and Belarusian athlete and activist Katsiaryna Snytsina, whose life inspired the show.

The New York Times called Small Forward “a bracing reminder of how exhilarating a show can be when it connects one person with the world”.
